China Millennium Monument
China Millennium Monument, 中华世纪坛 in Chinese, is located 9A Fuxing Lu, Haidian District, Beijing. Actually it is facing the Beijing West Railway Station and near the Military Museum.
China Millennium Monument was built to com memory the transfer from 20th century to 21st century in 2000AD. The giant monument covers an area of about 4.5 hectares (11 acres), with its inclined needle depicting a giant sundial. The travelers can climb up the Millenium Monument to view the scenery of Yuyuantan Park.
China Millennium Monument consists of the Century Altar, the World Art Museum, the Holy Fire Square, the Bronze Thoroughfare and the Century Bell.

Apr15-Oct 7: Mon-Thu 8am-6pm, Fri-Sun 8am-9pm. Oct 8-Apr 14: Daily 8.30am-5.30pm
