Big Wild Goose Pagoda

Big Wild Goose Pagoda, 7-storeys with the height of 65 meters, which was first built in 652 A.D in Tang Dynasty in the yard of the Dacien Monastery. Built from brick and wood in classic Tang style architecture, the Pagoda was constructed to house and protect the Buddhist sutras and figurines brought from India by monk Xuan Zang.
You can climb to the top to take in one of the best views of the city, looking down over the grid-like layout of Xian. After, you can stroll through the beautiful gardens around the pagoda.
There is a big fountain square on the north of the pagoda, which plays musical fountains every day to attract many tourists to view it.
