Baihaba Village

Baihaba Village is listed as the First Village in the northwestern China. Located at the boarder between China and Kazakhstan, Baihaba is a small village with a population of 1000 more or less, and most of them are Tuwa Mongolian and Kazaks.
The village is a wonderful place for photographer as there are traditional wooden houses, pines, birches, horses, and nice people here. Particularly in the autumn, it become the golden paradise when the tree leaves changed color from green to yellow. It seems the life has never changed in the village thought the world has developed rapidly, local people still keep their traditional life style. Therefore it is listed one of the best eight towns in China.
It is not easy to travel there before a good road was constructed in 2005. Nowadays travelers can get here from Kanas lake via local sightseeing buses.
