Zhangye Danxia

Zhangye Danxia, situated in Linze County 40 km away from Zhangye, is a red mountain with all formations which was formed in the past millions years.
There are 2 parts for Zhangye Danxia, Binggou Danxia and Qicai Danxia, Binggou Danxia is well-known for all sorts of mountain and rock formations, but not colorful. Qicai Danixa is 7km away from Binggou Danxia, with the dominate red moutains wuth yellow in between. Because of its strong color, it is maginificent to view the sunrising and sun set in the Qicai Danxia.
In China, there are Guangdong Danixa, Hunan Danxia, Jiangxi Danxia etc., and each of which is worth visiting.
Zhangye is an important town on the ancient Silk Road. There are trains, bullets trains in Zhangye to travel to Lanzhou, Jiayuguan, Dunhuang and Urumqi. There is a small airport in Zhanye to fly to Beijing, Xian and Shanghai etc.
