Yuantong Park in Kunming

Located at the northeast fringe of the city Kunming, Yuantong Park gets its name from its location at the top of Yuantong Hill. At the south-side of the hill stands a temple completed in 1320 during theYuan Dynasty. It is the only ancient temple located inside the city. The park is divided into four flower gardens--the spring garden, summer garden, autumn garden and winter garden-all famous for different flowers. The Kunming Zoo is also inside the park.
