Trandruk Temple

Trandruk Temple is a Tibetan Buddhism temple, which belongs to Yellow Hat Sect, which is situated beside the road on the east bank of the Yarlung River in Nedong County, Tibet, China. Trandruk Temple was built in the 7th century by King Song Gampo. The tombs of the Tibetan kings are located here. It is believed that all the early Tibetan kings are buried here, of which only 9 of those are still visible.
In the temple, the most impressive glory is the Pearl Thangka, an image of King Songtsen Gampo's wife, Princess Wencheng, as the White Tara, created from thousands of tiny pearls meticulously sewn onto a pink background. It is places in the central chapel upstairs where you can also view an original statue of Padmasambhava at the age of eight.
There are few tourists to the Trandruk Temple, it is very nice to travel to there for your Tibetan tour, the entrance is CNY70 per person.
