Temple to Lord Bao Zheng in Hefei

It is situated in a park in the center of the city Hefei. It was built in honor of BaoZheng, an honest and outstanding official of the Northern Song Dynasty. He was a magistrate, prefectural head and vice minister of rites. He was upstanding because he fought against corruption and instructed his family not to take bribes. Such sentiments should be considered unusual and lauded in the history of China.
