Shuangta Temple

Also known as the Yongzuo Monastery, it has twin pagodas which are the symbols of Taiyuan. The pagodas were built in the Ming Dynasty and are over 50 meters high. They are octagonal and built of carved bricks. Inside the monastery are exhibitions of old coins, pottery, etc., and a corridor with 207 stone tablets of Ming Dynasty calligraphy.
