Qingtong Gorge
Located south of the city, it is a gorge and an impressive dam near Yinchuan. Nearby on a barren hill, the 108 mysterious white dagobas are arranged in the shape of a triangle in 12 rows from one to 19 in odd numbers. The smallest one is about six feet and three arm-spans around. They are Buddhist structures from the 13th and 14th centuries, apparently built to ward off the"108 human frustrations."
