Naval Museum in Qingdao

Naval Museum in Qingdao, 海军博物馆 in Chinese, is a specialized military museum organized and established by the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy, officially opened to the public on the first of Oct. 1989. It is the only military museum fully reflecting the development of China’s Navy. Covering an area of more than 40,000 square meters, the museum comprises the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy history exhibition hall, Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy uniform exhibition hall, gift exhibition hall and weapons and equipment hall and warships hall. The exhibition hall of navy uniforms displays 1200 historical pictures related to the ancient and The warship exhibition hall displays the ship Chengdu (a first-generation Anshan missile destroyer) and the submarine Changcheng.
