Moore Pagoda

Moore Pagoda, or "Mo Lati wood" in Uighur language for flue chimney, as a result of the location of the two high towers by local people as beacon towers in the ancient time. In fact, this is a famous Buddhist temple ruins. It is located in Kashgar, 20 km east of the ancient Shan Ma Tage the middle of a sand dune, backed by mountains, in the face of the wilderness, south of the river Qiakemake separated from the ancient river channels and a few kilometers away across the ancient city of Neu-Khan. Moore pagoda remnants of the two existing sites, which have a Seng Fang southeast of the site, under the slope of the sand there is a row of ancient Karez Irrigation System. In the lower section of the ancient temple site are burning wood for charcoal, it is estimated that the temple was destroyed in a fire. In the vicinity of plastic plaster statues unearthed quite a number of pieces, of which a Buddha face had achieved a very high level of art.
