Kuqa Grand Mosque

Kuqa Grand Mosque is located in the old town of Kuqa, which was originally in the 15th century. It is recognized as the second largest mosque in Xinjiang after the Id Kah Mosque in Karshgar. The mosque can house 3,000 Muslims to pray at same time.
The mosque was damaged in 1930s, and reconstructed in recent years. There are main gate, praying hall, the court etc in the mosque. Particularly the court displays the sharia to judge the cases in the past.
