Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong Disneyland, the fifth Disneyland style park, opened to visitors on September 12, 2005. It is located on reclaimed land in Lantau Island in China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This theme park is dedicated "to all who come to this happy place... to enchanted realms of fantasy and adventure, yesterday and tomorrow". It is therefore dedicated to everyone who cares to dream and live it out. There are four theme areas in the Hong Kong Disneyland Park all of which may bring visitors much enjoyment and many wonderful experiences. 'The fantastic and magical journey might start with" Main Street, USA". In this theme area, visitors can enjoy the typical old architecture from America the delicate buildings, dim gas lamps, and antique cars. They are thus transported back to the America of the early 20th Century. Delicious eastern and western food is served in the restaurants. The Chinese elements have also been intensively utilized here, with the cartoon heroine Mulan's image shown everywhere. Adventureland is for courageous people. Visitors can travel several broad rivers and through Africa's broad grassland to visit the kingdom of the Lion King. The mysterious Asian forest and the Tarzan Island beckon tourists, who can appreciate the wonders and secret remote scenes of unspoiled nature. The third stop might be the Fantastic World which is a fairy-tale world full of happiness which visitors might once have expected to sense only in their dreams. Many Disney cartoon stars would welcome the guests here, including the beautiful and kind-hearted Snow White, pure and lively flying elephants, as well as the cute and naive little Winnie Bears. These characters in tales bring joy to the park's visitors and strike their fancy. An adventure in wonderland might come to an end in Tomorrow World, where one can experience a thrilling trip in the outer space and explore the endless universe.

What's more, Hong Kong Disneyland has well carried forward the must-see Disneyland traditional float parade and terrific music shows. All the cartoon figures come to life here and put on excellent performances. One expansion day in Disneyland can convince one that what the fairy tales tell might come true. There is also an imposing firework show during the night. Nearly 95% of the visitors usually stay for the show. So it is really difficult to say goodbye to such a wonderland.

With all the special attractions and the inimitable sense of Chinese culture, Hong Kong Disneyland has already become a must-see in Hong Kong. It is the paradise for children, and even adults can escape from the real world for a short period of time and make their childhood dreams come true. This Disneyland is still undergoing expansion and plans exist to add one theme area to the park every year.
