Located in Lijiang City, Yunnan, China, Lijiang old town (including Dayan, Baisha and Shuhe) was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List on December 4, 1997. The town has a history going back more than 800 years and was once a confluence for trade along the old tea horse road. It is famous for its orderly system of waterways and bridges. The old town of Lijiang differs from other ancient Chinese cities. It well preserves the minority architecture, history and the culture of Nakhipeople (the traditional residents). Therefore visitors will enjoy the diverse minority culture and quiet lifestyle. Old Town:

The Old Town of Lijiang, possessing an ancient culture of Naxi people, remained the fantastic townscape of high quality and authenticity.Its architecture is noteworthy for the blending of elements from several cultures that have come together over many centuries.

Mu Palace
The palace is where the Mu Clan of the Naxi people ruled for over 400 years. It is a large complex that extends part way up the hill behind it.

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
25km from Lijiang. A mountain massif is visible from Lijiang and capped all year round. Its highest peak is Shanzidou at 5,596m. The view of the massif from the gardens at the Black Dragon Pool in Lijiang is noted as one of China's finest views.

Black Dragon Pool
About 1 km from Square Street.It is a quite large place with some nice natural scenery together with traditional building styles.

Naxi Concert Hall.
Enjoy the traditional Naxi music Culture Show performed by the Naxi Orchestra, which includes some 70-90 year old men.
