Itinerary
Day 01. Arrive in Chengdu:
Arrive in Chengdu, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Chengdu.
Overnight in Chengdu Xinliang Hotel 4 star or similar
Meals: Welcome Dinner
Day 02. Chengdu/Lhasa Flight:
This morning transfer to Chengdu airport to take flight from Chengdu to Lhasa.
Arrive in Lhasa (3650m), our representative will pick up you and transfer to hotel. Get full rest for acclimatization.

Day 03. Sightseeing in Lhasa:
Today we will visit Potala palace, Jokhang temple, Barkhor street in Lhasa.
Potala palace, which is the Dalai Lama's winter palace. It locates at center of Lhasa city, this palace was established in 7th century, 5th Dalai Lama enlarged the palace to present size.
Jokhang Temple which will provide us one of your first sights of devout Tibetans. In the temple we will see the glistening Sakyamuni statue which is considered as Tibetan Buddhism's rarity. The Barkhor Street is high active free market in Tibet, and it’s one of very important place to purchase local souvenirs.

Day 04. Lhasa:
Morning time will be spent in Dreung Monastery, the Drepung monastery was built in 1416, which belongs to be the biggest monastery among the six monasteries of the Gelukpa sect. In the afternoon, transfer to Norbulingka palace where it was a place for Dalai to spend his Summer time.

Day 05. Lhasa/Gyangtse:
Drive Shigatse via Gampa La pass(4980m) which offers spectacular views of the Nojin Kangsang snow ranges and the turquoise lake (4400m)Yamdrok, view of glacial mountain peak Nojin Kangsang(7200m) , Gyangtse township(4000m). The fertile valley of the Nyang-chu River, which is the principal tributary of the Brahmaputra in Tsang, visit Gyangtse township and Kubum monastery and sightseeing the old part of town.

Day 06. Gyangtse/Shigatse/Sakya:
Continue driving in the Nyang-chu valley about 90 km to north via Padnam township to Shigatse city (3900m) where we will visit Pachen Lama's seat place, the great Tashilumpo monastery, a very big and complex monastery in Tibet. Afterwards continue driving to Sakya.

Day 07.Sakya/Shegar:
This morning we will visit Sakya Monastery. It has a history of more than 900 years and is the leading monastery for the Sakyapa school of Tibetan Buddhism. A number of cultural relics and artifacts in the Sakya Monastery ensure that it is a historical and cultural museum, presenting its glittering past to all visitors. Afterwards drive about 4 hours through the high pass over 5200 m to Shegar town.

Day 08. Shegar/Everes:
Today we will get away from the Friendship Highway and travel towards Rongbuk Monastery near the Mount Everest Base Cam. Rongbuk Monastery is the highest monastery in the world and has been rebuilt considerably in the past decade. From Everest base camp, you can see stunning views of Everest and the surrounding Rongbuk Valley. Spend rest of the day exploring to the Everest.
Overnight in Rongbuk Monastery guesthouse. (Depending on weather, you might stay in Shegar rather than in Rongbuk)

Day 09. Everest/Shigatse:
Morning time exploring to the Everest base camp, Afterwards take the same way drive back to Shigatse. Please note the Everest view might be covered by clouds depending on the weather.

Day 10. Shigatse/Chengdu：
In the morning, transfer to Shigatse Airport to catch flight from Shigatse to Chengdu. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Visit Kuanzhai Alleys this afternoon.

Meals: Breakfast & lunch
Day 11. Chengdu:
Private transfer to the Chengdu Panda Base to view the cute panda being fed in the morning. Visit Wenshu Temple this afternoon in Chengdu.
Farewell dinner will be the yummy hot pot.

Day 12. Chengdu Departure
Transfer to Chengdu Airport to catch flight onward home.
