At 9:30am Beijing time, you guide will meet you in your hotel lobby and take a private vehicle driving about 2 hours 160KM to Dawakun Desert.
Dawakun Desert is the wester fringe of Taklamakan Desert, it is a great place to view the desert, the lake, and the old trees etc. The huge sand dunes extend one by one to make an impressive picture. The endless sand dunes, old multi-leaved trees, camels, and a lake near the desert in Dawakun are quite unique to view. There are different landscapes in the desert in different seasons.
You will enjoy the lunch at local restaurant.
Afterwards you will be transferred back your hotel where the trip concludes.
