144-Hour-Visa-Fee in Beijing
China allowed 53 nationalities to stop in Beijing without visa for 144 hours from January 2018. Travelers from 53 countries with the air tickets to the third country can travel to Beijing, Tianjin, and Hubei Province in China in 144 hours without visa. This 144-Hour-Visa-Fee policy aims to make China tours easy and let visitors stay longer to visit more sites.
As the statistics about foreign visitors to China, visa is the most difficult thing. Now the Chinese government is trying to make it easy. In some major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Guilin etc., 72-hour-visa-free has been carried on. However, 72 hours are not enough to see more for most of these cities, hence Beijing has issued 144-hour-visa-free policy and hope there will be more cities in China will also follow it and let more visitors to travel to China easily and quickly.
