Jiulong (Nine Dragon) Wall in Datong

The Jiulong Wall lies along the East Road inside the city Datong, Shanxi Province, China. It is said that once it served as a screen outside the residence of a royal prince. It was built more than 500 years ago and is 45. 5meters from east to west, 8 metershigh and 2. 02 meters thick. The wall is inlaid with nine huge glazed dragons in bright colours who are soaring in the clouds.
