Song Academic Drawing

It is a school of Chinese drawing, mainly of Song imperial drawers and their drawings. Such drawers were professional, serving exclusively for the imperial purpose, mainly representing flower-bird, landscape, palace life and religion, magnificent and detailed, yet less personalized. In Chinese drawing history, this school of drawing was opposite to intellectual drawing (by intellectuals and ministers).
