Plastic flowers

In the competition against real flowers, plastic flowers have not lost the battle. The blossoming flowers are charming and fragrant, but they wither quickly and it's not easy to take care of them. The plastic flowers retain their appearance so long as dust doesn't cover them. Li Ka-shing, the Hong Kong billionaire who is probably the richest Chinese in the world, began his business with selling plastic flowers. As technology advances, plastic flowers are made ever more lifelike. Without touching or smelling them, one can hardly distinguish some products from the real ones. But there are many people who can't tolerate fake flowers, as they can't endure anything false. Without the need of nurturing, plastic flowers give you no expectations from budding to flowering. Should the roses in lovers' hands, carnation in mothers' hands and lilies in lovers' hands be replaced with plastic ones, it would be a terrible sight. However vivid the plastic flowers are made, they cannot replace the real ones.
